James Luis is an ALC student who wanted to be an artist of some kind ever since he was a kid. Growing up with a father who worked as a graphic designer, James watched his father make drawings during his spare time and because of that he wanted to try to do something similar.
He started with wanting to be a caricaturist, similar to those who worked as editorial artists for newspapers that he would flip through from time to time.
During this time, he also studied acting at the Children’s Theatre.
Choosing his direction would be further determined in high school when he discovered animation, a new appreciation for music, poetry, and so his path has been guiding him to where he is today, as an art student who is still trying new things.
He still doesn't know exactly what he wants to do after school, but hopefully it will be something worthwhile.
